Diego Mandelman was born in Buenos Aires in 1980. He has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, a house of studies where he was also a teacher in the Audiovisual Production Workshop. He is a writer, journalist, plastic artist and film director. He worked in Human Rights, where he was trained by personnel of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). In his work as a journalist he collaborated in digital media, in the magazine “La Fuga”, in the humor supplement of the Diario Perfil, in the gastronomy site buenosocios.com and historiasnarradas.com. In his role as a writer, he published his first book of fiction stories, "Sessions with psychoanalyst A". On television he made a series for the TyC Sports cable signal. He directed, scripted and produced with www.mandelproducciones.com.ar, two documentary feature films and several short films that received distinctions at various film festivals.
